Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Thursday congratulated the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s new leader Kim Jong-un on being elected first secretary of the Korean Workers’ Party. The Party’s fourth national conference held on April 11 also named Kim’s father, Kim Jong-il, who died last December, as its “ General Secretary for eternity”.
