Construction begins on a passenger terminal in Thua Thien Hue
(VOVWORLD) -Passenger Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport in Thua Thien Hue province will be built to receive 5 million passengers per year.
A groundbreaking ceremony of the project took place on Sunday with the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh. He urged Thua Thien Hue provincial authorities and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam to supervise contractors to ensure safety, quality, and progress of the project.
The terminal is expected to be put into operation by early 2021.
