(VOVworld) – A conference to create driving forces for Vietnam’s socio-economic development until 2020, with an eye to 2035, took place on Tuesday.

Delegates discussed motivations to promote Vietnam’s harmonious growth model and barriers facing Vietnam during its period of transition to the market economy and the renovation of economic institutions. The state of the workforce in Bac Ninh Province over the past five years was also on the agenda.

They stressed the need to focus on poverty reduction while promoting national economic growth and upholding the role of the private sector. Moreover, resolute measures must be taken to prevent corruption and waste.
