Da Nang International Firework Festival 2018 wraps up
(VOVWORLD) - Italy might not be playing in the World Cup but at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival on Saturday they were champions. The Martarello S.R.L. Team lit up the night sky over the Han River and took first place in the competition that has run for the past two months.
They toppled the US team of Atlas PyroVision in the final of the competition which has been running for 10 years. Eight teams of pyrotechnic professionals from France, China, Sweden Portugal, Poland, Viet Nam, the US and Italy battled it out for top spot over the past eight weeks of the festival which had the theme “Legend of bridges”. Speaking at the final day of the festival, Mr. Tran Van Mien, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee: “In addition to displays of fireworks, a range of art programs involving top stars have been held making the festival more exciting and impressive. The 2-month festival has promoted the city’s image.”
