Filipino fishermen handed over

(VNA) - Border guards in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, on Thursday took five rescued Filipino fishermen to their embassy in Vietnam. The distressed fishermen were rescued by a trawler from Phu Yen province fishing in the waters of Truong Sa archipelago late last December. The Filipinos were given first aid, healthcare, and accommodation by the trawler and Khanh Hoa authorities during their stay in the province.
