The Government has just asked the National Assembly to authorize a 30% reduction in corporate income tax this year. But more Government support is needed, according to Nguyen Quoc Hung, General Secretary of the Banking Association.

“The National Assembly, the Party, and the Government have many policies to support businesses. However, we need a better fiscal policy to support those businesses. Ministries, relevant agencies, and credit institutions should have a suitable mechanism to help them generate revenue", Mr. Hung said.

Economists believe that policies to support businesses need to be coordinated. Businesses should make the most of support resources, reduce costs, retain employees, and increase productivity and quality.
