France split by Constitutional amendment on deprivation of citizenship
(VOVworld) - The French government has agreed on amendment inscribing the state of emergency in the French constitution and extending the deprivation of citizenship to deal with terrorist threats.

French politicians currently are split by the proposal attributed to the possibility of violating individual freedom rights.
The Constitutional amendment will be submitted to the parliament for more discussion, likely beginning from early next February.
The proposed amendments need support from three out of fifth of total parliamentarians.
