Vietnamese Ambassador to France, Duong Chi Dung said Vietnam was proud to be a guest of honor at the fair saying that it reflects the special relation and mutual trust between Vietnam and France. Dung said the Vietnamese pavilion, which covers 400 sq meters and displays traditional Vietnamese fine arts products and cuisines, will become a destination of friendship, exchanges and cooperation. Claude Feurer is General Director of the Fair: “We want our guests of honor to introduce their strength and specialties. Many things about Vietnam are still unknown to the French and European people. Vietnam is a modern country and has developed rapidly in Asia. The President of the Fair was impressed with Vietnam’s growth after each trip to the country. So we hope that people in Alsace, French and European people know about the development in your country”.

This year’s fair attracts 1,200 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors. It will offer an ideal forum for businesses to explore partnership opportunities and meet with customers.
