Hai Phong aims to become Vietnam’s advanced logistics hub
(VOVWORLD) - A symposium on seaports and logistics in Hai Phong was held on Saturday by the DEEP C Industrial Zones and the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam, as part of the on-going Belgian culture and cuisine festival in Hai Phong city.
 The symposium is part of the 2019 Vietnam-Belgium cultural and economic exchange festival. |
Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee, Nguyen Xuan Binh, said the city has invested in infrastructure aiming to become the most advanced logistics hub. “The government has assigned Hai Phong city to develop into a civilized and modern city and an advanced logistics hub. Hai Phong’s authorities and people have changed their mindset and taken actions to realize the target in the near future.”
Delegates discussed business opportunities and proposed solutions to clear obstacles to raise the city’s competitiveness and logistic service.
