Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that the program’s theme "Green Journey" reflects Hanoi's orientation for tourism development.

“Hanoi tourism sector will focus on green, circular, and sustainable development, while strengthening regional linkages, international cooperation, and digital transformation. The “Green Journey” program is a journey of responsibility for heritage, today’s living environment, and future generations. It spells out the belief that Hanoi can become a leading destination for green tourism, cultural tourism, and experiential tourism coupled with historical, cultural, and artistic values,” said Hieu.

This year’s "Get on Hanoi" program also featured New Year of the Mong ethnic group, the Gia Lai Tourism Day introducing Gia Lai’s tourism potential and the Visit Vietnam Year 2026's activities. The event will last until Sunday.
