Run by the Council of Europe and organised annually by the European Union National Institutes of Culture, European Day of Languages offers people the chance to experience a multilingual environment whilst enjoying a day full of activities and prizes. Participating representatives will be given a platform to present their languages and countries.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn some words in Czech, Romanian, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish, as well as getting an insight into the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.

Short classes lasting for 30 minutes will be offered in these languages, and participants will learn some basic vocabulary and communication strategies in all of these languages.

Most notably, the event will allow visitors to attend a French class and gain more information about studying in Belgium, as organised by the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation to Vietnam.

‘Speak-dating’ will also be an activity on offer, allowing everyone to come into contact with each of these different languages in five minutes of fun learning.
