(VOVworld) -  Hong Kong police appealed to protesters to cooperate with police as street demonstrations continue.
Hong Kong police said on Thursday that two men had been arrested for disorderly conduct in a public place and assaulting police as a crowd of people once again charged into Lung Wo Road in Admiralty in the early morning.
At around midnight on Wednesday, a number of people rushed out into Lung Wo Road, which caused severe traffic congestion. Some protesters threw water bottles and traffic indicator boards on the road.
The police appealed to the protesters not to obstruct or charge the police, and reiterated that any acts endangering public order and public safety would not be tolerated.
