(VOVWORLD) - The Ho Chi Minh City-Gyeongju World Cultural Festival 2017 is taking place in Ho Chi Minh city, featuring cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

The festival, the first of its kind in HCM City held by the two cities, conveys a message of peace, cooperation, and friendship among peoples all over the world. Nguyen Bich Nga, a local visitor, said: "The festival attracts many tourists to Nguyen Hue pedestrian street. I myself want to learn more about Korea’s culture, clothes, and products".
Themed “Cultural exchanges for a prosperous Asia”, this year’s event will continue until December 3.
