(VOVWORLD) -The European Union's annual inflation was 11.5% in October this year, up from 10.9% last month, according to figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU.
Figures show that 18 EU members had an annual inflation rate above 10% in September.
According to a European Commission forecast, the eurozone and most EU countries will head into an economic recession in the last quarter of this year.
