In a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in Washington, Netanyahu said Tel Aviv has considered taking unilateral military action against Tehran. The Israeli leader said Israel rejects the agreement being discussed by Iran and the P5+1 (China, France, Russia, UK, the US and Germany) to limit Tehran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu said if the agreement is reached, it will help Iran become a nuclear power.
Earlier, Netanyahu met with US President Barack Obama to discuss Israel’s security and Iran’s ambitions. According to analysts, there was not much progress at this meeting.
