The new Israeli cabinet will be sworn in on Monday, including 22 ministers and 8 deputy Prime Ministers. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a meeting Sunday with the Likud Beytanu party to discuss the new cabinet members. Likud Beitenu, Habayit Hayehudi and Yesh Atid parties will take the education, social services, health, and science and technology portfolios with 19 seats in the parliament. Moshe Yalon, former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, who is given the post of Minister of Defense, is a conservative concerning Iran and Middle East peace. The list of 8 deputy Prime Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs has not been released. However, Netanyahu will retain his foreign affairs orientation.
