(VOVWORLD) - Despite international warnings and calls for restraint, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has affirmed that Israel's military campaign against Iran will continue.

Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke on Israeli television on Saturday that the war against the Iranian regime would certainly continue. Israel has prepared a plan with “many surprises” for the next phase of the conflict, aimed at destabilizing and changing the regime in Iran. He called on members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to lay down their arms to save their lives.
The US-Israel war against Iran has entered the second week. The Israel Defense Forces said on Saturday that during more than a week of fighting, Israeli aircraft had dropped over 7,500 bombs on Iran, doubling the number used in the conflict with Tehran last June.
The Iranian authorities reported that more than 1,300 civilians, including hundreds of women and children, have been killed in the strikes so far.
