IS militants have threatened to attack Italy by Scud missiles. However, 63% of respondents disapprove a military intervention and 27% said it’s necessary but has to be swift. Italy has supported a diplomatic effort to resolve the Libyan crisis under the United Nations framework. It has been the last Western country to shut down its embassy in Tripoli against the threat to its fall to IS militants.
