Lawmakers discuss national target programs on education, healthcare for 2026-2035
(VOVWORLD) - National target programs on improving education and on healthcare, population, and development for 2026-2035 topped the agenda at Tuesday’s National Assembly session.

Party General Secretary To Lam affirmed that healthcare and education are vital pillars of society. They are not only development goals but also engines for cultivating human resources, one of the country’s three breakthrough priorities, he noted.
The Party leader emphasized that these national target programs require broad engagement from the entire society and must be backed by clearly defined goals and actions.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed that the national target program to modernize and enhance the quality of education and training is a strategic mission requiring substantial investment of time and resources.
Its ultimate objective, he said, is to elevate overall education quality, particularly the capacity of teachers and educational managers.
