Yen Bai province has set up 7 inspection teams who will go to every corner of the province to check and implement disease prevention measures. The teams will also conduct simulation exercises of Covid-19 response, organize quarantine in residential areas, make medical profiles, disinfect infected areas, and strengthen task forces in districts and townships.

Quang Nam province has halted all unessential activities and gatherings of more than 20 people and cancelled all religious activities. Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh has ordered to shut all main and sub-border gates along the Vietnam-Laos border from March 28 to April 20.

The Da Nang Municipal People Committee has asked the Department of Tourism to cancel all activities in public beaches and their surrounding areas.
