(VOV) - Professor Vladimir Buiyanov, headmaster of the Moscow Academy of Economics and Policy (MAEP) yesterday conferred the title of honorary professor on Major-General Trinh Quoc Khanh.

Khanh is General Director of the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Centre, a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the International Academy of Ecology and Environmental Security and Vice President of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association (VRFA). Professor Buiyanov said MAEP wanted to recognize Khanh’s contribution to educational, scientific, and economic cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. Khanh is the author of more than 65 scientific projects. Khanh said he will continue to promote friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
