Malaysian Prime Minister talks East Sea dispute settlement

In an interview with Japan’s Asian Nikkei Review on Tuesday, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak stressed the need to respect diplomatic and legal processes, resolving disputes peacefully via negotiations.

Speaking during his visit to Japan the same day, Najib stated that all sides, including Japan, need to play a constructive role to ensure peace, security, and stability in the East Sea. He added that disputes in the East Sea are complicated and need to be resolved reasonably via dialogue.
