NA Chairman urges thorough preparations for 2026 National Assembly, People’s
(VOVWORLD) - Top legislator Tran Thanh Man worked with several National Assembly committees on Tuesday on preparations for the upcoming National Assembly and People’s Council elections.

He called for intensified training for officials at commune and provincial levels on election procedures and personnel work, while accelerating digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence in managing deputies’ affairs and the operations of People’s Councils at all levels.
March and April will be the peak period for preparations for the elections, Mr. Man said, adding that the goal is to select 500 qualified National Assembly deputies and a sufficient number of deputies to provincial and commune-level People’s Councils.
He also stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, multilateral conferences, and substantive bilateral visits under the National Assembly’s external relations program.
