Vietnam ready for Election Day

(VOVWORLD) - Voters across Vietnam will go to the polls on March 15, 2026, to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and members of the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Preparations are being carried out nationwide in a coordinated manner to ensure the elections proceed on schedule and with high quality.

In Ho Chi Minh City, early voting will be organized in Phuoc Thang and Tam Thang wards and Long Son commune for more than 4,000 voters performing long-term duties at sea.

Onshore voting will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on February 26, while in Tam Thang Ward voting will run from February 26 until 7:00 p.m. on March 14 to facilitate experts and workers engaged in offshore construction projects.

In Nghe An Province, early voting will also be held on March 13 in several mountainous, remote, border and hard-to-reach areas.
