(VOVworld) – The NA Standing Committee today/ on Tuesday held an online meeting to question the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on matters of voters’ concern.

These include vocational training and generating jobs for workers in rural areas as well as ethnic people. Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen reported the initial results on the project to give rural workers vocational training. The leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and Ministry of Public Security also identified the difficulties and solutions to providing vocational training and management for rural workers. NA Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said that the Ministry will continue to assist the Government by supplementing policies and mechanisms to improve the quality of vocational training courses for rural and ethnic people: "The Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs needs to continue to manage vocational training in line with the requirements of the labor market in terms of quality and quantity in the different sectors".

In the afternoon, NA deputies questioned the Governor of the State bank of Vietnam, Nguyen Van Binh about bad debt and the restructuring of commercial banks.
