NA Standing Committee to open 36th session on August 12
(VOVWORLD) - The 36th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will begin in Hanoi next Monday and run through Friday, according to the Assembly's office.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will deliver an opening speech and take turns with her deputies to chair the session.
During the five-day sitting, participating legislators will discuss five bills – the law on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on State Audits; the revised Law on Securities, the revised Labour Code, the Law on Reserve Forces, and the Law on Libraries. They will also examine a draft resolution that explains the Law on Planning.
The Committee is set to supervise the management and use of off-budget financial funds from 2013-2018, and fire prevention and control from 2014-2018.
