(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with voters in Dien Ban district of Quang Nam province on Wednesday. He informed them of the outcomes of the 3rd session of the 13th National Assembly and pledged to deal with proposals from voters. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: “The deputies raised the major issues of public concern. I urge all district and provincial authorities to enter into more dialogues with the people, listen to their opinions and encourage them to implement the party’s guidelines and state’s policies. We need to enforce the rule of law and get closer to the people to help with their problems.”

The majority of voters in Quang Nam said they hoped that the deputies will do their best when representing them at the National Assembly.

Later the same day, Nguyen Van Hien, Head of the National Assembly Committee for Justice met with voters in Ngoc Chien commune of Muong La district in Son La province. They asked for concrete measures and priorities for remote and mountainous areas to reduce poverty there. They called on the National Assembly to focus more attention on resettling people. Nguyen Van Hien said: “Resettlement is one of the major policies of the Party and State. So I ask that the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committees at different levels study the policy thoroughly so that resettled people will be given decent housing.”
