National Civil Defense Steering Committee’s work program to 2025 approved
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, has just signed a decision to issue the Committee’s working program to 2025.

The Steering Committee is tasked with fulfilling eight key tasks and directing the building and completing the document system; consolidating civil defense organizations and forces; drills on civil defense; propagating and educating law; international cooperation; investment and procurement of civil defense equipment; and organizing conferences and meetings of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee will develop plans to respond to disasters from now to 2025; consolidate the Commanding Committee for Civil Defense-Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue at all levels; conduct air and sea search and rescue training and response to aviation and maritime disasters; carry out drills to respond to dangerous epidemics and disasters; and raise community’s awareness and responsibility for civil defense and disaster prevention.
