The information was revealed at the festival to conclude last year's national Tourism Year in the central province of Thua Thien Hue on Saturday. Focusing on heritage tourism, various activities were held in the northern central provinces such as the Vietnamese businesses with national culture and heritages program, Hue lantern festival, Hue Festival, and central region’s cuisine festival. Minister of Culture, Sport, and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh says: "I suggest Thua Thien Hue and other northern central provinces to advance cooperation to generate a united power and promote their advantages to create highly competitive tourist products. They should take advantaged of supports from ministries and sectors to build tourism trademarks to turn Hue and central provinces into national tourist hub."
