(VOVworld) -  Nha Trang city will become the host of national and world events in Vietnam. This is the Prime Minister’s decision on Nha Trang master planning adjustment, publicized by the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee on Tuesday.

Nha Trang city, in addition to being the current tourism, economic, cultural, and scientific center of Khanh Hoa province, will be linked to that of the whole South Central Coast region and Central Highlands. At a ceremony, local authorities shared with attendees their ambitious projects for Nha Trang to achieve tourism city’s criteria. The projects included moving the administrative center to the south western area; upgrading the old center to a tourism and service center; and turning 238-hectare Nha Trang airport to a central hub for trade, service, finance, and tourism.
