(VOVworld) - Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union, have failed to reach a final agreement at tripartite talks on Tuesday in Brussels about the start in 2016 of a free trade regime between Ukraine and the EU. Russia’s Minister of Economic Development Alexey Ulyukaev told a press briefing following the talks that suggestions proposed by involved parties are unacceptable. He said it’s necessary to establish a compulsory and legally biding mechanism that requires involved parties to take responsibility for possible consequences. Minister Ulyukaev said all parties have agreed to continue their negotiations at the ministerial and expert level this month. If no progress is made before January 1st, Russia will impose trade restrictions on Ukraine.
