No Vietnamese citizens affected in Hong Kong fire
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed Thursday that no Vietnamese citizens have been reported affected in the major fire in Hong Kong (China).

Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said Vietnam’s Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau stands ready to implement citizen protection measures if needed.
Hang said: “Immediately upon receiving the information, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs instructed the Vietnamese Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau to contact local authorities to verify whether any Vietnamese are affected, and to reach out to the Vietnamese community for updates. According to information from the Consulate General, no Vietnamese citizens have been reported as affected at this time.”
