North Korea confirms hypersonic missile test
(VOVWORLD) - North Korea successfully conducted a hypersonic missile test on Tuesday, aimed at final verification of the overall technical specifications of its hypersonic weapon system, North Korean state media KCNA reported on Wednesday.
The hypersonic missile precisely hit its target in waters 1,000 km away. The superior maneuverability of the hypersonic missile was more convincingly verified through this final test, the KCNA report said.
Leader Kim Jong-un oversaw the test-firing and praised his military scientists and officials for significantly increasing North Korea’s war deterrence by this cutting-edge technology, according to KCNA.
