(VOVworld) – North Korea has warned of "military counteraction" against recent military activities by the US and South Korea, after Washington sent strategic bombers to Seoul.

Two B-1B bombers flew over Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek, 70 km south of Seoul in a show of US military forces.
In Thursday’s announcement on the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), a spokesman for the General Staff Department of the North Korean Army called the move a military provocation against Pyongyang, warned that such provocations could push the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the uncontrollable and irreversible phase of an outbreak of a nuclear war.
Pyongyang threatened that its nuclear warheads can reach US territory.
