North Korea warns it will use nuclear weapons first if threatened

(VOVworld) – A North Korean official with the Foreign Ministry’s Institute for American Studies said on Monday that his country may carry out further nuclear tests and launch a preemptive strike on the US if US nuclear forces mobilize against it.

Lee Yong Pil also warned that North Korea may carry out a sixth, a seventh, and an eighth nuclear test, following its fourth and fifth nuclear tests in 2016.
