Pakistan quake toll reaches 515

Officials say 515 people have died in an earthquake in southwestern Pakistan, according to  Pakistani officials on Friday. Bodies are still being discovered in collapsed houses. According to officials of the Baluchistan province, about 20,000 houses were destroyed by the earthquake. Insurgent attacks have threatened relief efforts and survivors. Helicopters carrying aids for the survivors after the earthquake were shot during the last two days. Baluchistan province is a stronghold of insurgents, who have killed many civilians and members of the security forces.
