Looking ahead, the Party leader emphasized the need to continue the anti-corruption effort with determination, persistence, and without exceptions or “no-go zones.”
The Party leader said: “First and foremost, the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and wrongdoing must always put the interests of the nation and the people above all else, in order to contribute to building a clean, strong, efficient, and effective Party and political system, one that is upright, serves the people, and drives national development.”

General Secretary To Lam underscored that the anti-corruption effort must shift more strongly toward prevention, considering prevention as the primary and central task. This should go hand in hand with strengthening the role and vigilance of grassroots Party organizations, enhancing public oversight, eliminating “ask–give” mechanisms, and effectively implementing asset declaration and transparency for officials.
