Party leader urges Tay Ninh to capitalize on its border gate advantages

(VOVWORLD) -General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam on Monday visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to the Party committee, administration, people, policy beneficiary families, and meritorious individuals in Tay Ninh province.

General Secretary Lam emphasized that the period from now until 2030 and further to 2045 is of pivotal importance for national development. In this process, Tay Ninh plays a significant role, not only for the development of the province itself, but also for the region and the whole country.

The Party leader asked Tay Ninh province to develop industrial zones and clusters linked to logistics; effectively exploit the economic advantages of border gates; and gradually form regional value chains, connecting with the Cambodian market and the Southeast Asian region.
Later Monday afternoon, Party General Secretary To Lam laid a wreath and offered incense at the Tra Vo Martyrs' Cemetery in Thanh Duc commune and offered incense at the Bau Rong historical and cultural relic site of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police in Long Thuan commune.
