PM requests good services of people for Lunar New Year celebration
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities to direct the effective, coordinated, and efficient implementation of tasks and solutions so that the people will have a joyful, safe, and economical Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

In an official dispatch dated Sunday, the PM urged the Ministry of Industry and Trade to prepare sufficient essential goods, vigorously implement market stabilization programs, connect supply and demand, and bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial zones, and remote regions.
The Ministry was also required to ensure the timely release of national reserve goods to the right recipients and guarantee social welfare, especially in areas affected by natural disasters.
The PM stressed the need to regulate the supply and demand of goods to meet domestic needs and for export in order to stabilize market prices, as well as effectively manage the flow of goods through border gates.
He asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead in organizing diverse and unique art programs to serve the public during Tet; and to proactively plan for adequate transportation for the people and overseas Vietnamese returning home for Tet.
