(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on Wednesday that 2026, the first year of the term, is significant in creating momentum for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, with the major goal of achieving double-digit growth.

Prime Minister Chinh chaired the Government meeting with localities for January, which was connected online with 34 provinces and cities nationwide. “We must make the utmost effort, act decisively, and focus on delivering the motto of 1 goal, 2 guarantees, 3 yes's, 4 no's, 5 transformations, and 6 claritys, he said.

"1 goal" is double-digit growth. "2 guarantees" are ensuring development for stability, stability for development; and ensuring security, safety, and people's well-being. "3 yes's" include contributions from the people, contributions from the State, and contributions from businesses. "4 no's" include not wasting a single day, not delaying for a week, not missing opportunities for a month, and not being passive for a year. "Five transformations" are greening, digitalization, resource optimization, smart governance, and harmonizing the interests of the State, the people, and businesses.
Regarding future tasks and solutions, the Prime Minister stressed the need to maintain macroeconomic stability, control inflation, promote growth, and ensure the major balances of the economy, while renewing traditional growth drivers and boosting new growth drivers.
