Speaking at the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2025–2030 term on Thursday in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said young entrepreneurs are a dynamic, pioneering force who dare to think and act, and have successfully started businesses in many new and innovative fields.
“We must expand national development space into outer space, out to the vast oceans, and deep into the earth. This requires intelligence, science and technology, innovation, and the courage to take risks, to think and act boldly, to value knowledge, to save time, and to make decisive decisions at the right moment. Young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, proud of our national culture, should strive to preserve and promote it,” said PM Chinh.

The Prime Minister called on young Vietnamese entrepreneurs to take the lead in start-ups, innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and the application of artificial intelligence, big data, and semiconductors.
He urged them to build green and circular economic models that meet the increasingly high standards of major markets.
In its 7th term from 2022 to 2025, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association’s 21,000 members have created jobs for 5 million workers, recorded annual total revenues of over 40 billion USD, and contributed to more than 10% of national GDP.
