PM’s visit to Laos achieves practical results: FM
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Laos recorded comprehensive, practical results, said Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son at a meeting with reporters on Thursday.

Minister Son said during the visit from January 10 to January 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, paid a courtesy visit to the Lao Party leader and President Thongloun Sisoulith, met with Lao top legislator Saysomphone Phomvihane, and received President of the Vietnam-Lao Friendship Association Boviengkham Vongdara.

The Prime Minister attended a press conference to close the Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam Friendship Year”, co-chaired the 45th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee, and delivered a speech at the Vietnam-Laos Investment Cooperation Conference.
During the visit, the two sides signed 10 cooperative agreements to further bilateral cooperation in diplomacy, economics, digital partnership, civil legal aids, education, training, finance, banking, health care, waterway transportation and fostering external relations.
