(VOVworld) - State President Truong Tan Sang has sent his best wishes to the educational staff and students nationwide on the occasion of the new school-year 2012-2013.

In a letter dated August 31, the President praised great efforts and achievements of the educational sector, especially teachers who have made considerable contributions to the sector and unfortunate students who have overcome their difficulties.

President Sang noted that the school-year 2012-2013 is of importance because this will be the first year to implement the Education Development Strategy 2011-2020. He urged the whole sector to further renovate management mechanism; nurture a contingent of teacher and education manager; and improve education quality. He expressed his belief that the students will promote their national tradition of learning to achieve higher results in education to bring fame to the nation.
