President Truong Tan Sang chaired the 12th session of the Central Steering Committee on Judicial Reform on Dec 5.

Delegates discussed a proposal to simplify the organizational structure of investigation agencies and selectively apply experience of foreign countries in line with Vietnamese context. The President expected that the improvement of litigation process and investigation agencies will help prevent miscarriage of justice. He called for further review of the proposal to satisfy new requirements in judicial reform.
