(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged Dong Thap province to mobilize and boost diversification of investment models in agricultural development.

The Prime Minister made this recommendation Sunday at a meeting with Dong Thap authorities on the implementation of its socio-economic tasks and measures to deal with the current drought. Mr. Phuc hailed the province for its progress in economics, national defense, security, and diplomacy, and commended the province as a pioneer and a shining example for other provinces to follow in agriculture restructuring. He said he believes Dong Thap will provide a model of agricultural production efficiency and sustainability. The Prime Minister asked Dong Thap province to take steps to deal with climate change.
