Prime Minister receives Armenia’s ambassador

(VOVworld) - Vietnam will do its utmost to promote mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told Ambassador Raisan Vardanyan in Hanoi on Wednesday.

At a reception for the newly accredited diplomat, Dung praised Armenia’s opening of its embassy in Hanoi, contributing to deepening bilateral ties. Dung said that Vietnam will join Armenia to boost traditional ties and enhance bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit and development.
The Prime Minister vowed support for the Armenian ambassador’s efforts in Vietnam to enhance bilateral cooperation especially in trade, and training. He proposed establishing a Vietnam-Armenia inter-governmental committee to direct bilateral cooperation, and said Vietnam is considering opening an embassy in Armenia. Ambassador Vardanyan vowed to work hard to boost Armenia-Vietnam cooperation in all areas, including economics, trade, and investment.

She reiterated Armenia’s consistent policy of attaching importance to developing ties with Vietnam and the opening of an embassy in Hanoi testifies to this.
