(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Wednesday former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama who is attending the Vietnam ICT Summit 2015. Prime Minister Dung appreciated Mr. Hatoyama’s attendance at the summit and his contributions to boosting cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, particularly in IT. He expressed delight at the friendship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan and said he hoped Mr. Hatoyama will continue to promote bilateral ties.

Hatoyama said this year he will be promoting cooperation in IT application in agriculture, fisheries, and businesses. He will take a major Japanese IT delegation to Vietnam to study cooperation opportunities this year. He also pledged to promote cooperation with Vietnam in labor, vocational training and sports.
