(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies have approved the resignation of National Assembly chairman and Chairman of the National Electoral Council Nguyen Sinh Hung.

They also approved a resolution on his resignation, which will come into force when a new chairman of the National Assembly and the National Electoral Council is elected. The National Assembly Standing Committee also proposed personnel for these posts, which will be endorsed on Thursday. Deputies will also vote on the resignation of the President.
