(VOVworld) – On Sunday, Russia’s Interstate Aviation Committee confirmed that 10 crew members abroad an Il-76 plane were killed and the aircraft completely destroyed while extinguishing forest fires in the Irkutsk region.

The aircraft’s black box has been recovered. Aviation experts say the aircraft may have crashed into a mountain in low visibility conditions. But the plane’s black box is being analyzed to confirm the cause of the accident.
