(VOV) - A slogan contest for Vietnamese students interested in English was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.

The event, co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Associations and the Vietnam-Australia Friendship Association in HCM City, is part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. Those living in HCM City and southern provinces are eligible for the contest. Each contestant will produce a slogan in English featuring the friendship between Vietnam and Australia with a maximum of 10 words and an interpretation of no more than 200 words. The list of winners will be announced at the final, scheduled for July 20 in Ho Chi Minh City.
